What is EVP?
EVP - or electronic voice phenomena - is a
mysterious event in which human-sounding voices from an unknown source
are heard on recording tape, in radio station noise and other
electronic media. Most often, EVPs have been captured on audiotape. The
mysterious voices are not heard at the time of recording; it is only
when the tape is played back that the voices are heard. Sometimes
amplification and noise filtering is required to hear the voices. Some
EVP is more easily heard and understood than others. And they vary in
gender (men and women), age (women and children), tone and emotion.
They usually speak in single-words, phrases and short sentences.
Sometimes they are just grunts, groans, growling and other vocal
noises. EVP has been recorded speaking in various languages...

These are just a few of the many we have got the last few years. Most of them should be heard without the help of headphones.But feel free to use them if you have them.Most EVP's are usually heard through headphones as most are very low...but they are there!!!
This one was captured at the Shanley Hotel in Napanoch NY.A little girl named Rosie supposedly haunts a few floors there and like to play games.Brian asked he to play "peek a boo" and this is what she answered.
This one was caught the very same night at the Shanley as the one above.Listen very close to the very beginning.You can hear someone say'I'm freezin"...no one in the room said anything.
Another one here from the Shanley...On the 3rd floor in a room where supposedly a murder took place.
This one was taken at a private residence in Orange County Ny where a suicide had taken place.

This one was caught on the fourth floor of Waverly Hills.Bill asked the question and got an answer...we cant tell what it says though
Ok, this one is very faint.But it is audible.Listen closely and you will hear what sounds like a womans voice saying'I'm looking for yooouuuu" Taken at a private residence in Orange County NY
We got this one at Fort Mifflin in Philadelphia. Listen close and you will hear what sounds like church bells ringing for a few seconds as we are talking. No bells were heard at the time,nor are there any buildings in the fort with any type of bell.
Got this one at the Shanley Hotel on June 16th 2008 in the bordello.The Shanley is an EVP paradise!
Another one from the Shanley. A recorder was left in a bathroom on the 2nd floor. You will hear the investigators in the background down the hallway from the room. Bill cleaned up the most important parts of the clip so you will notice a difference in sound quality.
Bill went back to the bathroom to retrieve the recorder.He asks "is anyone in here"? You will hear something which sounds like static and then a name,,we think it says Ellen.Bill actually heard this when he was in the room.He originally thought it said Bill...creepy nonetheless..

Ok this one is creepy. In the coffee room of the Shanley Hotel during a break,some investigators are talking.Out of nowhere comes a voice talking to them in French!!!EVP caught by Jane
Another caught by Jane at the Shanley. During the tour of the building we got this. It has been enhanced and filtered for better clarity.
Captured by Nance and Jane at Penn State University at the UnivCon Paranormal Convention. Jane says "give us a name"...You will hear the answer. This was caught on Nances' recorder,but Jane also caught it on hers.No children were present.
